Head of Growth

Sunbound is seeking a Head of Growth to join its founding team and lead product marketing, go-to-market strategy and a wide range of integrated campaign development across several channels and stages of the funnel. This is the first marketing role at Sunbound, and will carry a lot of opportunities to work closely with the founders and shape company direction and culture. 

This role is at the center of Sunbound's growth—you'll be pivotal to the success of the company as you help expand awareness of Sunbound in existing and new markets. This person should be thoughtful and creative, a dynamic team player, and ready to roll up their sleeves and get scrappy


As Head of Growth, you will…

  • Lead all go-to-market planning activities for D2C campaign launches, including positioning, channel strategy, launch planning and collateral development
  • Define positioning and messaging for new products, features and audiences. Work cross-functionally to ensure end-to-end positioning is consistent across product and marketing 
  • Influence the product roadmap by acting as the voice of the customer and define, develop and test new products and features
  • Develop, scope and optimize growth initiatives that increase conversion
  • Own strategy for creative development and optimizations across marketing surface areas, such as customer stories, video content, landing pages, email and sales enablement collateral
  • Work closely with sales to arm them with messaging, product-specific collateral and consumer insights
  • Help shape the marketing team as it grows over time. Be a part of the hiring process and mentor junior team members.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing and / or performance marketing
  • Experience at fintech, proptech or senior living related companies a major plus
  • Demonstrated capabilities executing end-to-end quantitative and qualitative customer research and effectively identifying and interpreting key findings
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product, PR, design, and customer service teams
  • Self-starter and ability to build programs from scratch
  • Positive attitude, can-do mentality with a knack for balancing multiple projects at the same time
  • Self-driven and motivated to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional prioritization and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills: Written, verbal, and visual
