One of our favorite ways to get out and meet all the exciting people and companies working in the senior living space is to get out to some of the amazing senior living conferences that are held each year. Attending and presenting at conferences gives our team the opportunity to connect with all the amazing people behind the senior living industry, from owners and operators to healthcare and business professionals.

North Carolina Health Care Facilities Association Annual Convention & Expo
February 18-21 in Greensboro, North Carolina
The NCHCFA Annual Convention & Expo is first on our list, held in the Joseph S. Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, North Carolina this February. The NCHCFA is North Carolina’s oldest and largest association advancing skilled nursing, and represents nearly 400 member facilities throughout the state. NCHCFA’s annual convention brings together facility owners, educators, and senior living vendors for three days of informative events and networking opportunities. Past presentations and talks have focused on issues ranging from applying for grants, to marketing skilled nursing facilities, to employee engagement and retention.
Senior Housing News Sales & Marketing Conference
February 29 - March 1 in Tampa, Florida
Along with being known for its industry-leading publications, Senior Housing News also puts on some of our favorite conferences. Attended by some of the biggest names in the senior living industry, including companies like Legend Senior Living and Pacifica Senior Living, the SHN Sales & Marketing Conference is a great place for senior living owners and operators to learn all of the cutting edge ways that companies are using to increase their occupancy in 2024. The conference boasts presentations led by leading senior living executives, as well as world-class networking opportunities and training materials.
2024 NIC Spring Conference
March 5-7 in Dallas, Texas
HIMSS 2024
March 11-15 in Orlando, Florida
HIMSS 2024 is the annual conference of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, and is one of the biggest events in the world of healthcare IT with over 33,000 attendees expected this year. While the focus of HIMSS 2024 is more broadly on healthcare than some of the other senior living conferences in this list, HIMSS is still known for its amazing resources in senior care and the conference promises to have plenty of amazing resources of senior living owners and operators looking to take advantage of all the latest trends in healthcare technology.
Senior Living 100
March 24-26 in Laguna Niguel, California
The Senior Living 100, which bills itself as a boutique leadership experience, is considered by many to be one of the top networking events in the senior living calendar each year. Each year, the Senior Living 100 brings together executives from the country’s leading senior living operators (companies with 600 or more units) for a three day conference focused on educational events and talks from leading figures in the senior living industry. Because it isn’t a trade show or expo, vendors do not make presentations, but business sponsors of the conference do get the opportunity to network with attendees.
Texas Assisted Living Association Annual Conference
April 2-4 in San Antonio, Texas
The Texas Assisted Living Association Annual Conference is one of the country’s largest state assisted living association conferences held each year. Each year, the Texas Assisted Living Association brings together hundreds of senior living operators and senior living service providers for three amazing days of networking, educational events, and assisted living focused presentations. Whether you’re a nurse, a senior living operator, or provide services for senior living companies and their residents, the TALA Annual Conference will have relevant information for you.
Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference
May 8-10 in Phoenix, Arizona
Argentum is a leading national association helping companies that operate professionally managed, resident-centered senior living communities as well as their residents and their families, across the acuity spectrum from independent living through assisted living and memory care. With their nationwide focus, Argentum’s Senior Living Executive Conference brings together thousands of senior living professionals, from operators and owners to senior executives, for a three day event focused on networking and education. Argentum’s Senior Living Executive Conference is a great way to meet with a wide range of people from across the full range of senior living offerings.
California Assisted Living Association Trade Show
Spring: June 3-5 in Sacramento, California
Fall: November 4-6 in Palm Springs, California
Like the TALA Annual Conference, the California Assisted Living Association Trade Show is one of the bigger annual events held by a state assisted living association. Held twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall, the California Assisted Living Association Trade Show brings together thousands of attendees including c-suite executives, community executive directors and clinical staff, and marketing and business professionals, both for networking and educational panels and discussions.
Senior Living Innovation Forum
Spring: June 9-11 in Palm Springs, California
Fall: November 17-19 in Miami Beach, Florida
The Senior Living Innovation Forum, held twice a year since 2015, is an invite-only conference limited to 250 industry leaders each year. The Innovation Forum is designed to allow leaders in the senior living industry, from executives and operators to investors and thought leaders, to exchange ideas and attend talks dedicated to the future of senior living. For those looking for an curated educational experience, the Senior Living Innovation Forum is definitely worth your time.
RCFE Conference
July 12-13 in Anaheim, California
One of the fastest growing sectors of the assisted living industry are residential assisted living, also known as board and care homes.
